Excited for CSM 2026

Updated: Sep 14

It's almost that time of the year to register for the APTA Combined Sections Meeting (CSM). Early registration starts on September 10. I've already reserved my hotel room through APTA for the conference and then booked for my stay after the conference ends.

CSM 2026 will be held in Anaheim, CA from February 12 to 14. The details on the educational sessions haven't been revealed yet, but once it does, I am going to scour and plan what sessions I want to go to. My number one priority will be pelvic health sessions, especially on any topic that would be beneficial to my patient population. Honestly, I'll be looking at all the sessions from every section to see what could benefit my patients. I have frequently had to use my knowledge in other fields, such as neurorehabilitation, orthopedic, wound care, or cardiopulmonary in combination to my pelvic health knowledge due to a patient's comorbidities.

That is the wonderful thing about CSM. I am able to access a plethora of information about the latest research and clinical practices in a few days' worth of time. I hope that any conflicting sessions will have the other session available for viewing their On-Demand option.

I am already making a list of things I want to bring because I plan to take a lot of notes. I have a little folded keyboard that is connected to my phone so I can type up notes instead of writing it up. Granted, I also plan on bringing an empty notebook, just in case!
